Lucerne Cocoa & Chocolate Products Limited

Co-Founder & Chairman (December 2010 - Present)

Tanveer founded Lucerne Cocoa & Chocolate after realizing that all chocolate chips in Bangladesh were imported. He built the country's first industrial chocolate manufacturing company, serving bakeries and the food and beverage industry. Monthly production grew from 3,000 kg in 2015 to 95,000 kg in 2023, significantly reducing the country's reliance on imported chocolate.

Data Bird: Building Bangladesh's Digital Ecosystem

Co-Founder & Chairman (August 2018 - Present)

Tanveer co-founded Data Bird, a digital startup aiming to replicate the success of Tencent in Bangladesh. The company operates several high-traffic platforms, including Ridmik Keyboard (with 42 million monthly active users) and ShareTrip, Bangladesh's largest online travel agency (OTA). Data Bird is pioneering a comprehensive digital ecosystem, offering services from travel to messaging and fintech. Data Bird has successfully raised $13 million from foreign investors, to revolutionize Bangladesh's digital landscape.

Mubarak Ali Case Centre at IBA, Dhaka University

Tanveer spearheaded the establishment of the Mubarak Ali Case Centre at IBA, Dhaka University in collaboration with the Mubarak Ali Foundation. The center, named in honor of his late grandfather, focuses on developing business case studies that reflect the challenges of emerging markets, particularly in Bangladesh. This initiative, in partnership with Harvard Business School Publishing and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, is revolutionizing business education in Bangladesh.

Frontier Nutrition Inc/ Care Nutrition Ltd

Director & Chief Financial Officer (April 2017 to Present)

Frontier Nutrition, co-founded by Tanveer Ali, develops and markets ultra-affordable snacks to combat malnutrition in emerging markets. Under the brand "Hashi Khushi" in Bangladesh, where the snack food sector is booming, the company produces fortified snacks priced between $0.06 and $0.12 per unit. These snacks are 15-70% cheaper per calorie and nutrient than local alternatives, distributed through traditional FMCG channels, and target low-income consumers who suffer from nutrient deficiencies.Tanveer Ali played a key role in securing investments from major entities like DSM-Firmenich and Adjuvant Capital, a U.S. venture fund backed by the IFC and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). These financial partnerships have been vital in scaling operations and expanding the company’s impact on public health in the region.

Constellation Asset Management Company Limited

Chairman & Chief Investment Officer (September 2018 - Present) 

Tanveer Ali is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Constellation Asset Management Company Limited, where he significantly influences the company’s investment strategies and direction. His leadership has established Constellation as a key player in Bangladesh's financial sector, guiding the firm in securing licenses from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).

Freshway AGtech Ltd

Tanveer Ali is the Chairman of Freshway Agtech, where he drives the company’s vision to lead in agri-tech solutions in Bangladesh. Under his leadership, Freshway has become a significant player in the poultry industry, with a feed milling capacity exceeding 9,000 metric tons per month and a poultry farm housing over 100,000 chickens.
